Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union honour young people with outstanding achievements

The Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) hosted a ceremony in Hanoi on the evening of March 23 to recognize young individuals who achieved outstanding accomplishments in various fields throughout 2023.

Acting President Vo Thi Anh Xuan graced the event and presented the awards conferred by the HCYU Central Committee. These accolades aim to commend the remarkable endeavors of young people, encourage the cultivation of youthful talents, and propel movements for academic excellence, training, scientific research, labor, and innovation among the youth.

Recipients of the Vietnam Outstanding Young Faces Award 2023 included Dinh Cao Don (academic achievement), Doctor of Science Ha Thi Thanh Huong and Doctor of Science and Medicine Ngo Quoc Duy (scientific research and innovation), Dang Duong Minh Hoang (labor and production), Nguyen Xuan Luc (business and startup), Captain Vu Van Cuong (defense), Captain Le The Van (security and order), marksman Pham Quang Huy (sports), Dang Cat Tien (social activities), and rapper Nguyen Duc Cuong, known as Den Vau (culture and arts).

Additionally, nine other promising individuals across the aforementioned categories were also honored during the ceremony.

Addressing the audience, Bui Quang Huy, First Secretary of the HCYU Central Committee, urged youth organizations to continue effectively fulfilling their roles, fostering an enabling environment for youth development, and serving as companions to the younger generation on their journey to reach new heights.
