Vietnam Strongly Opposes All Forms of Terrorism
Vietnamese Ambassador Dang Minh Khoi vehemently denounces all acts of terrorism targeting civilians, including the devastating attack that occurred in Russia on the evening of March 22.
As per the latest figures released by Russian authorities, at least 137 individuals lost their lives and 182 others sustained injuries, many of whom are in critical condition, following the armed assault on Crocus City Hall in Moscow.
Russia observed a national day of mourning on March 24, marked by flags flown at half-mast and the suspension of entertainment activities.
On March 23, over 4,000 individuals, including Vietnamese citizens, came forward to donate blood in Moscow in solidarity with the victims.
Ambassador Khoi expressed confidence that the Russian Government and people will remain united and swiftly overcome this tragic incident.
Upon learning of the deadly attack, Acting State President Vo Thi Anh Xuan conveyed a message of condolence to Russian President Vladimir Putin on March 23.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also sent a message of condolences to his Russian counterpart, Mikhail Mishustin, while National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue extended similar messages to Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Valentina Matviyenko, and Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Vyacheslav Volodin.
Additionally, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son expressed his condolences to his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, on the same day.
