The VFU and ANAP signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation for the 2025-2030 period.
In the meetings, Doan emphasized that the Vietnamese Party, State, and people greatly value the special traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Cuba, nurtured by President Ho Chi Minh and Cuban leader Fidel Castro. He highlighted that as a socio-political organization representing Vietnamese farmers, the VFU aims to deepen bilateral relations through collaboration with ANAP. The visit provided an opportunity for both associations to share experiences and explore partnership opportunities for national development.

They congratulated Vietnam on its achievements in renewal and national development, noting that Vietnam’s policies have significantly advanced agriculture, farmers, and rural areas.
The Cuban side expressed hope that the two associations will collaborate closely in food production, human resources training, management capacity improvement, and promoting Vietnamese investments in Cuba.
